Perched on a sloping site with sweeping views over Port Phillip Bay, this alterations and additions project draws inspiration from the home’s original Tuscan character. The design celebrates and reinterprets the existing architecture, carefully retaining much of the structure while introducing bespoke contemporary interventions that elevate the home’s potential.
 

Soft, rounded edges echo the original arched windows and doorways, gently balancing the new simplified forms. The material palette embraces the warmth and charm of the existing home, refined through a modern lens.
 

Inside, the layout has been thoughtfully reworked to enhance flow and functionality without large-scale structural changes. A cohesive fitout complements the architecture, merging comfort and sophistication. Natural stone, warm timber joinery, and subtle brass detailing come together to create a timeless sense of luxury — a home that feels both grounded and effortlessly elegant.
