The design of this project preserves the integrity of the original home while introducing a striking new addition that redefines the way it connects to its surroundings. The contemporary extension wraps around the existing pool, linking it seamlessly to the new open-plan living spaces above — all positioned to take full advantage of sweeping views toward Frankston Beach and Port Phillip Bay.
 

The simple forms and clean lines of the design create a deliberate contrast to the original dwelling, establishing a clear dialogue between old and new. From the street, the existing home retains its familiar presence, while the rear unfolds into a refined architectural expression. Inside, the modern addition delivers an elevated living experience through its considered proportions, light-filled spaces, and a sophisticated material palette that balances warmth with contemporary elegance.
