Architecture & Interior Design

2019

This home was designed around one clear brief: to celebrate concrete in all its forms. For our clients, concrete is more than just a material — it’s part of their family business — and this project gave them the opportunity to take an active role in the construction process.

From the outset, concrete became both the structure and the statement. Large commercial tilt panels were cast with a stylised bamboo pattern, creating bold feature walls that continue seamlessly from the exterior into the heart of the home. Inside, polished concrete floors and a striking bamboo-patterned wall set the tone, while a floating white concrete staircase showcases the material’s sculptural qualities.

Generous double-height living spaces connect to a central courtyard and pool, flooding both levels with natural light and creating a sense of openness and flow. Warm timber finishes soften the robust palette, balancing strength with comfort and making the home feel both striking and inviting.
