Architecture & Interior Design

2026

Architecturally designed in response to the client’s brief, this alterations and additions project addresses the requirements of the home not only spatially, but through the creation of a calm and effortless living environment defined by timeless luxury. The design channels the collective vision of both Client and Architect, combining careful architectural intervention with considered landscape design and an understated material palette to deliver a home of enduring architectural merit.

Integrated outdoor living spaces, strengthened connections to landscape and carefully curated external environments will reposition the home with a renewed focus on practicality, privacy and refined living, establishing a harmonious relationship between the built form and the natural setting. Through re-connecting the home to the site, the design reinforces a stronger relationship between people and nature. Particular emphasis has been placed on capturing expansive views over Port Hacking and the National Park beyond, while a series of intentional architectural ‘moments’ draw upon and celebrate the unique qualities of the site.

The architectural language is defined by an honest and natural material palette, where complementary finishes work cohesively to create a timeless aesthetic that enhances the built form. Through the strategic integration of old and new, the additions achieve a seamless architectural outcome, balancing form, structure and materiality. Interior finishes continue this design ethos, introducing warmth, texture and tactility to further strengthen the architectural language of the home.

The resulting architectural response embodies sophistication, restraint and elegance, delivering a bespoke family residence of exceptional quality and one worthy of its remarkable setting.
